For a peaceful and social world!

From July 12th to July 14th the representative of the U.S. politic of War will visit Germany.
He intends to intensify the cooperation in the so-called „war against terror”.
But the U.S war against Iraq is a terrorist act itself creating violence instead of diminishing it.
Human rights, International Agreements, and Ecological Responsibilities are treated as inferior to the ruthless hunt for profits and power that the Neo-Liberal globalistic practitioners are trying to teach the world.
Already more than 100.000 Iraqi people lost their lives in the last years, most of them unarmed civilians.

This war is a violation of International Law.

The War crimes of U.S. Military Forces in Afghanistan and Iraq ignore basic Human Rights.
We demand of our government not to follow the U.S.A. into this war!

The German Government already gives considerable aid to the aggressive course of the U.S:

• by supporting local military airbases as Rhein/Main-Airbase, Ramstein and Spangdahlem; by guarding U.S. military facilities;
• by sending Bundeswehr troops to Afghanistan and the Horn of Africa; and
• by training courses and equipment provision for Iraqi troops.

The German government has acted against the prohibition to participate in a non-defensive war already during the war in Yugoslavia.
It now wilfully, and, on a large scale executes the remodelling of the Bundeswehr into an Intervention Force, to be utilized worldwide, and inside the EU belongs to the driving forces behind European Militarizeation.

We demand:

• the termination of military violence against Iraqi civilians!
• an end to the occupancy; self-determination of the Iraqi people!
• punishment of all those responsible for torture, abuse of prisoners and attacks on civilians!
• an end to the NATO’s, the EU’s and the Bundeswehr’s participation in the war in the Near and Middle East. No military intervention in Iran!

To peacefully and globally solve the pressing problems of (wo)man, the world does not need waralliances nor U.S. solo flights, but solidarity and cooperation.

We aim to further:

• a just and lasting, balanced, economical, and social development with a consideration for
• ecological aspects;
• a Civil and Social Europe against mandatory armament in the EU constitution;
• the acceptance of poverty, lack of perspective, exploitation and injustice as causes of terrorism and the opposition of these factors.

European politics must be the Politics of Peace – Disarmament instead of Social Degradation!

A peaceful world is possible!
